Radiocoms achieves ISO 27001 international data security certification

Radiocoms Systems Ltd is proud to announce that it has achieved another successful milestone, after months of hard work we are officially ISO 27001:2013 accredited.

Working in conjunction with the Radiocoms compliance team led by Operations Director, Bhupinder Sidhu the global certification body NQA carried out in-depth assessments and audits of our information security practices.

Examining our control objectives such as information security policies, operational, incident management, continuity and leadership,  NQA found Radiocoms context to be well defined, that leadership was effectively demonstrated and there was a strong commitment level to the standard. This was reflected in the levels of compliance with requirements, and operational control being evident which were appropriate to the risks and opportunities identified.

The certification which is valid for three years is maintained through a programme of annual surveillance audits.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001:2013 is the international standard that provides a framework for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) to provide continued confidentiality, integrity and availability of information as well as legal compliance. ISO 27001 certification is essential for protecting your most vital assets like employee and client information, brand image and other private information. The ISO standard includes a process-based approach to initiating, implementing, operating and maintaining your ISMS.
