The Entel DTEx ATEX series of digital two way radios are a fully-featured, rugged series ready to operate in the most extreme and hostile environments. Providing the vital communications link between personnel, Entel’s newly-launched ultra-durable DTEx ATEX Series is the latest in their Intrinsically Safe range.
In addition to its IP68 (2m, 4hr) submersible rating, the commercial grade construction of these robust portables meets the highest gas group rating – ATEX IIC – and are also available in ATEX and IECEx IIA certified variants.
Outstanding range and performance coupled with Lone-Worker, Man-Down (optional) and Emergency Buttons ensure the DTEx Series is equipped to support workers in any challenging operation.
To maintain worker protection, the ultra-tactile, ergonomic controls on the Entel DTex ATEX walkie talkies have been specifically designed for gloved-hand use, whilst the strengthened alumina silicate glass provides excellent contrast to the white-on-black OLED – customisable to large font 2-line or detailed 5-line display – for outstanding readability in varying light conditions.
To avoid accidental operation, your radio’s keys & controls can be locked.
Audio Accessories & BA Support
Entel’s Sure Speech™ intelligent speech tailoring technology optimises audio to match the connected accessory, ensuring the very best clarity, volume and natural sounding audio. Third party Breathing Apparatus comms kits are also supported.
Mixed Mode Operation
Mixed Mode is beneficial where both Analogue & Digital radios are being used together, e.g. where a customer is migrating from an existing Analogue radio system to a DMR Digital radio system.
Personal Attack Button
Once activated, the DT800 radio will send an alarm call to other radio(s) as well as sounding a local alarm.
Lone-Worker & Man-Down Alarms
DTEx radios support Digital mode Lone-Worker, Man-Down* and Emergency Button features with call interrupt.
Through our Application Partners, Radiocoms Systems support a cost effective portfolio of software applications to further enhance your sites operational goals – lone worker, alarm handling and job ticketing streamline efficiency whilst aligning with operational procedures, assisting in industry compliance and ultimately creating a safer work environment.
