Earlier today, Radiocoms were informed that the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has lifted the injunction against Hytera Communications Corporation. This decision is effective immediately, allowing us to resume supplying their hand portables, mobiles, repeaters, LTE devices, and radio infrastructure.
For detailed information regarding the lifting of sanctions, please refer to Hytera’s official notice at: https://hytera-europe.com/news/notice-of-resuming-sales-and-distribution-globally. Below is the official statement from Hytera:
“The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has issued an order on April 16, 2024, effective immediately, that stays the contempt sanctions of the worldwide sales injunction, the worldwide notice requirement, and the further accumulation of $1-million-per-day fines. As a result, Hytera and all of its officers, agents, servants, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and distributors and resellers of any type, and all those persons in active concert or participation with any of them, may now resume their regular business activities.”
Following a ruling by a United States court on 2nd April 2024, Hytera Communications Corporation Limited has been made subject to a global injunction banning the company, its subsidiaries, distributors and resellers from supplying all two-way radio products.
This global injunction means that currently neither Radiocoms nor any other radio distributor globally is legally able to supply Hytera hand portables, mobiles, repeaters, LTE devices and radio infrastructure. This is of course a matter of serious concern to Radiocoms given its obligation to support its customers to the best of its abilities.
The length of time the injunction will remain in force is unknown. Radiocoms is in daily contact with Hytera and will provide an update with any information regarding the ruling and Hytera’s official response when it is released. Details of the injunction can be found on Hytera Europe’s website below:
