London, January 2024 – Broadmoor Hospital, a high-security psychiatric hospital, has extended its managed service contract with Radiocoms Systems Ltd (Radiocoms) for their DMR MOTOTRBO Capacity Max two-way radio system. The contract, governed by a Service Level Agreement (SLA), will enable Broadmoor Hospital to achieve both operational and capital cost savings while ensuring the highest level of security and performance.
The contract covers a range of services to support their business critical DMR tier III radio system. These services include: corrective and preventive field maintenance, management of changes to the network to meet evolving operational needs, and the installation and upgrades of software and firmware to safeguard system security.
Kevin Roberts, Security Operations Manager, Broadmoor Hospital, said, “During the previous contract term, Radiocoms consistently demonstrated their proactive approach, identifying areas of improvement and successfully implementing action plans to enhance the systems performance. The contract extension demonstrates continued confidence in Radiocoms’ ability to ensure the reliability and resilience of Broadmoor’s radio communication system.
The contract extension term will also deliver modernisation of our MOTOTRBO Capacity Max servers.”
Terry Staff, Account Manager for West London NHS commented, “We are delighted to have extended our relationship with Broadmoor Hospital for an additional term after building a strong partnership over the past three years.
