Press Release: Radiocoms launches ground to air radio service at major UK airports
London, May 2023: Radiocoms Systems Ltd (Radiocoms) announced today that its new digital ground to air communications network is now deployed and operational at the UK’s busiest airports: Heathrow, Stansted and Manchester.
The system based on Park Air ground to air technology will provide secure communication between aircrafts, airlines and ground crews to ensure resilient and safe operations.
The backbone of the solution is built upon next generation Park Air Radio ground-to-air equipment including the T6 radio and S4 IP controller, which is compliant with the latest VoIP standards and supports sustainability goals with lower power consumption.
