The IC-SAT100M from Icom is a fixed mount PTT satellite radio. It does not require users to stay outside to be able to maintain a stable connection, unlike handheld satellite radios.

What are the top features & functions of the IC-SAT100M?
In building install.
Installing the IC-SAT100M can be done in a very short period of time by using a PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch and IP network. LAN cable lengths of up to 100m provide a cost-effective and longer in-building solution. In this installation scenario,you don’t have to worry about the distance between the antenna (with RF unit) and the main unit.
Mobile/vehicle install.
You can use the radio in a vehicle by attaching the antenna on the roof. The optional, covert* AH-40 antenna offers flexible installation and can be stored inside the vehicle if required.
Interoperability with conventional radios.
Using the VE-PG4 RoIP gateway, the IC-SAT100M can be connected to an IP phone, WLAN, LTE, digital and analogue radios and other communication devices.
Encrypted transmissions.
This SATCOM device is encrypted to AES 256-bit.
Group communications.
With the Iridium PTT Command Center, you can configure up to 15 talkgroups including the ability to communicate globally.
Robust design.
MIL-STD-810; Antenna w/RF Unit: IP67, Speaker Mic: IP55, Main Unit: IP54.
Other features.
Voice recording function, short data messaging, built-in Bluetooth®, integrated GPS receiver shows received signal position, multiple language display (English, Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish).
