Icom’s IC-A120E is the ultimate ground-based panel-mount vehicle airband radio. Building on the success of the previous IC-A110EURO model, this new radio has been equipped with 8.33kHz and 25kHz channel spacing together with the latest noise cancelling and Bluetooth technology, making it the perfect choice for airport ground support personnel.
The IP54 rated IC-A120E comes with an intuitive user interface and an impressive range of features, allowing users to communicate quickly and securely. The robust construction ensures reliable operation, whilst the built-in active noise cancelling reduces background noise to up to 90% of the received signal and 30% in the transmitted signal.

200 Memory Channels with Channel Name
This transceiver features 200 memory channels for storing frequently used frequencies, a high contrast LC display for easy identification of selected channels, and a 12-character channel name to better organise your channels. On top of all this, you don’t need to use a PC to program these memory channels.
Optional Bluetooth Unit
When the optional UT-133 Bluetooth unit is installed in the IC-A120E, users can connect a third-party wireless Bluetooth headset and take advantage of the side tone function with an optional VS-3 Bluetooth headset, which enables them to monitor their own transmitted voice.
Optional Speaker-Microphone, HM-217
You can pull the speaker-microphone close to your ear to listen to received voice in noisy environments. The programmable buttons (P1/P2) on the front panel can be used as a shortcut to activate frequently used functions.
Convenient ON-Hook Scan Functions
The ON-Hook Scan feature automatically begins scanning once the hand microphone is hung on the microphone hanger. The ON-Hook Dualwatch function simultaneously checks both the priority and operating channels while the microphone is ON-Hook. When the hand microphone is taken OFF-Hook, the scanning stops on either the priority channel or the channel that is being displayed, depending on what is pre-programmed.
