Radiocoms supports SARAID’s mission

SARAID (Search and Rescue Assistance in Disasters) is a volunteer led organisation that provides vital assistance in disaster situations both in the UK and internationally. Their highly trained volunteers, many of whom are frontline emergency services personnel, are on standby 24/7, ready to respond to disasters at a moment’s notice.

Sarah Pickup, SARAID, “We were in need of replacing our team radios and I spoke with Radiocoms last year at the Emergency Services Show to see if they would be able to help us. This has led to them supporting SARAID by donating a fleet of thirty radios and chargers to the team free of charge. This has greatly upgraded our communication ability, which is vital in rescues.”

These radios are not just tools; they are lifelines. In the chaotic aftermath of disasters, effective communication can mean the difference between life and death. By equipping SARAID with newer communications technology, we can help them to enhance their ability to operate efficiently and safely in the most challenging conditions.
