What applications are avaiable for TAIT’s unified vehicle solution?
Combined, Tait Unified Vehicle and AppBuilder provide a powerful solution for delivering the results your organisation needs. Using the AppBuilder platform,
you can customise Tait’s Unified Vehicle solution to respond to your organisation’s specific challenges and requirements,
allowing you to create an individualised product without modifying hardware.
On-Board Voice Recorder.
Tait Unified Vehicle provides on-board voice recording for auditing or post-incident review of transmissions sent and received – especially simplex and direct mode transmissions. Although many radio systems are capable of recording all network traffic, those systems cannot record off-network calls. Voice messages can be retrieved using a WIFI connection.
Remote Application.
Depending on the radio network, a user may not have portable coverage, or the organisation may not be able to afford to provide portable radios to all their employees. The Remote app for iOS and Android allows users to connect to the mobile radio via WiFi in their vehicle. As a result, they can monitor and join conversations while they are away from the vehicle, and even make emergency calls.
Application builder.
Node-RED‘s AppBuilder is designed to allow you to easily program and control Tait Unified Vehicle functions, connectivity, and actions across a variety of different devices, networks, and applications. Tait can help you develop an application to work the way you need it to, or you can build your own.
For both new and existing mobiles.
Improve the performance of both new and existing Tait radios. Simply add the Tait Unified Vehicle platform option to the TM9300 or TM9400 to increase their capability.
Over the air programming (OTAP over WiFi).
Through Tait EnableFleet, mobile and portable radio configurations and firmware can be updated over the Tait radio network. With Tait Unified Vehicle, however, you can also use a WiFi connection, reducing the load on the network and boosting the speed and ease of updating the entire fleet. Tait PTToX service.
A network that allows workers to make and receive calls in as many locations as possible directly impacts safety and efficiency. Tait PTToX extends DMR Tier 3 capabilities to other networks, including cellular. Using this feature, users can move between coverage areas, automatically selecting the best bearer. With uninterrupted access to coverage in more areas, users can stay connected and safe.
