The PDC680 from Hytera combines a mission-critical DMR radio with an Android-based smartphone.
With its power of narrowband and broadband technologies, it is capable of providing voice calls, photo and video taking, positioning, and more. The radio’s innovative technology enables seamless communications between DMR networks and public networks such as 2G, 3G, LTE, and WLAN.
Superior audio quality.
To provide clear sound in noisy environments, the PDC680 is equipped with AI based technologies for noise cancellation, echo cancellation, and wind noise reduction to produce sound up to 128 dB.
Hytera TrustZone protects the PDC680 voice and data transmissions – full-disk encryption (FDE) protects the user data; air interface encryption (AIE) and end-to-end encryption (E2EE).
Ruggedised form factor.
The PDC680 withstands water, dust, and electrostatic discharge with its IP68 rating and ESD IEC Level 4 certification. Furthermore, it can survive a 1.5-meter drop from any angle and its rugged touchscreen can withstand heavy use in any weather condition. All these features help the PDC680 withstand harsh operating conditions.
The PDC680 provides fast and accurate positioning to track people or devices, indoor and outdoor. The GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, BDS, and A-GPS are used for outdoor positioning, while the location-based service (LBS) and WLAN support indoor positioning.
Automatic DMR/LTE switch over.
With the PDC680, you can automatically switch between the DMR network and the LTE network. Taking advantage of the PDC680’s dual ID registration to connect to both networks, it will select the best one to deliver smooth and reliable voice communications indoors or outdoors.
Multi app support.
Using the Android system, the PDC680 can run system-level apps developed by Hytera, as well as apps developed by third parties.
