For those working in environments containing explosive gases, combustible dust or mining vapours the robust and intrinsic safety Hytera PD795Ex ATEX two way radio from Hytera supports critical communications and stringent HSE policies, keeping employees protected and safe.
Durability
Besides meeting the requirements of the European ATEX and IEC Directives, as well as the North-American FM standard, these ATEX FM radios are compliant with the MIL-STD-810C/D/E/F/G standard and are dust and water-resistant to protection class IP67. Both radios are therefore rugged and long lasting to keep up with you in tough conditions.
Fail-safe design
The use of batteries or accessory components with a lower level of protection automatically triggers an alarm so that errors of this type cannot occur. A full intrinsically safe accessory portfolio is available to improve your user experience.
Meticulous encapsulation
The ATEX PD795Ex radio and its batteries are encapsulated, so that all internal switches are protected from, and sealed against hazardous explosive gases and dust particles.
The Hytera PD7 Series ATEX hand portable two way radios are ideal for both private and public sector organisations such as:
Basic Package includes:
1 x PD795Ex ATEX Hand portable walkie talkie radio, Standard antenna, Li-Ion battery, Belt clip, Single charger (multi charger POD available) and 24 Month radio body warranty warranty.
Priority Interrupt
Send a priority transmission to interrupt other calls, ideal for important, critical messages.
Pseudo Trunking
Using pseudo-trunking, a Hytera patented technology, slots can be shared to improve capacity usage with transmissions either direct to handset or to repeater.
Intelligent Audio
Combining noise cancelling technology to remove nusiance noise from the transmission, with powerful speakers to deliver clear communications.
Roaming
This feature allows the radio to switch between sites on Multi-site Conventional and XPT systems, ensuring seamless communication.
GPS
Enabling location based services to improve safety and control.
Emergency Mode
Raise an alarm with top priority to a base station or to other radios with the pre-programmed emergency mode, identifying the ID of the person issuing the alarm. Also receive emergency notifications.
Lone Worker
The lone worker feature uses a timer in the radio to measure inactivity. If the timer expires, a warning is issued, and if there is no response to that, the alarm is triggered.
Man Down
The man down feature will let you know if the radio has been tilted past a certain angle. This may happen for instance if the radio user has fallen over or is unconscious or injured. The alarm will be triggered after a warning is issued to the user.
Through our Application Partners, Radiocoms Systems support a cost effective portfolio of software applications to further enhance your sites operational goals – lone worker, alarm handling and job ticketing streamline efficiency whist aligning with operational procedures, assisting in industry compliance and ultimately creating a safer work environment.
