What is your role at Radiocoms?

I look after Business Development and account management for all our aviation and transport clients. Really, I see myself as a problem solver – I’m there to remove any obstacles for my customers. In aviation, the pressure’s always on, so being proactive and efficient isn’t just important – it’s absolutely essential to keeping things running smoothly for them.

What does a typical day at work look like for you?

I’m usually up and out early, heading to an airport with my coffee in hand! My days are filled with plenty of driving, walking around terminals and airside areas, and lots of conversations – talking with customers and, just as importantly, listening to what they need.

I’ll check in with ground handlers, operations teams, and maintenance crews to see how their equipment is performing. Sometimes I’m troubleshooting issues on the spot, other times I’m discussing upgrades or new equipment they might need. It’s about being visible and accessible – so when something comes up, I’m already there and we can sort it quickly.

I also spend time liaising with our Engineers, Hire team, and Purchasing, making sure installations are on track, equipment is sorted, and keeping everyone updated on timings. By the time I’m driving home in the evening, I love unwinding with a good audiobook or podcast.

What’s your ideal day off?

Give me a long, muddy country walk, somewhere beautifully remote where you can just switch off with the promise of a cosy pub at the end with good food and a glass of wine – that’s my perfect day!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Simple but: know your worth. The sooner you know this in life the better.
