Can you tell us a bit about your role at Radiocoms?

I am a Senior Development Manager, managing a team consisting of Lucy Keylock, Joanna Biggs, Steve Anning, Neil Barker and Philip Marston.

Through their own workstreams, the team assists me in commercially managing the Radiocoms customer base, including the MoD, Sellafield, Valero, London Gateway and Exxon, to name a few. They also manage their own sectors, including education, heavy industry, facilities and environmental customers, enabling me to spend time on my primary focus, which is managing MoD end-user customers across the Army, RAF, Navy, Defence Infrastructure and Special Projects through the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) contracts.

My role – simply supporting each and every end user we are lucky enough to have a relationship with.

None of the above, though, could be achieved without the support of each and every member of the Radiocoms team across each of our regional offices. So, to them, thank you.

What does a typical day at work look like for you?

A typical day at Radiocoms… I don’t believe one exists. If you find someone who does, let me have their number!

On a serious note, if I am not attending customer meetings, working with the team on various projects, liaising with engineering for surveys, or completing weekly tasks, then you will find me at the end of my mobile or laptop.

During the week, my typical day starts at 05:00, walking my German Shepherd, rallying my rug rats for school, and then getting on with the above.

What projects are you currently working on?

Across the customer portfolio – and I’ll spare you the full list, partly because it’s long and partly because this message would self-destruct before I got halfway through it – we’ve got a lively mix of projects across energy, Defence, utilities and logistics.

Never a dull moment, and rarely a quiet inbox.
