30th March 2020: A Statement from our Managing Director – How Radiocoms Systems Ltd are navigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the outbreak of the Coronavirus continues to escalate and we navigate our way through these unprecedented times, we would like to make you aware of the steps that Radiocoms Systems Ltd is taking as an organisation to keep our clients and employees safe.
Radiocoms supplies voice and data radio communication products and services that provide the infrastructure for critical services in government; therefore, we are now classed as a critical supplier during this pandemic. We have mobilised our business continuity plan, and our Directors are regularly meeting through remote technology, sharing information and taking action where required.
Working under guidance from WHO and the NHS, Radiocoms has stepped up its measures for the safety of everyone, addressing key prevention strategies. We have educated all of our employees on COVID-19 symptoms and prevention and are regularly updating them with safety information.
ENGINEERING
Our engineering and servicing team remain active and ready to support you in whatever capacity you require. All activities are being co-ordinated by our Managing Director and Senior Engineering Manager.
We are in regular communication with every engineer to confirm they or a family member are not displaying COVID-19 symptoms.
Our technology and facilities allow us to support the UK with ad hoc repairs, spare equipment and onsite maintenance. We also have the capacity to provide remote technical support. All maintenance and service level agreements for radio communication systems and solutions are being upheld.
Our mobile engineers are now working alone or in fixed groups of two where required, they will travel to site separately and work apart at the recommended two metre distance. All Radiocoms’ engineering employees will follow the health and safety protocols /restrictions of any site we attend.

A skeleton stores and dispatching team are operating at our Park Royal HQ and are being regularly rotated. Our aim is to deliver any order on a next working day delivery where stock is available. If there are any delays, we will advise you upon receipt of your order. Currently, the only delays we are experiencing are with deliveries to customers who have limited access to their site.
As an organisation, we have always ensured that the highest standards of hygiene are adhered to. The cleanliness of our work environment and the equipment we supply to you is of the highest priority, and as such, we issue PPE gloves for all employees that handle our client’s equipment. We also carry out regular cleaning of equipment & surfaces with a high grade of disinfectant.
We are continually adapting our hygiene processes and have a clear procedure in place to ensure we are taking the safest actions possible.
MANUFACTURERS & DISTRIBUTORS
We are working closely with all our key suppliers and are continually monitoring our supply chain for issues that may impact our operations. At this stage, there has been minimal disruption. By ensuring consistency in our supply, it will allow us to adapt to this changing market, assess any potential effect and minimise the disruption to you, our clients.
Over the coming days and weeks, our primary focus will be upholding our supply and support services to our clients, and the agreements set up so that businesses can continue to operate. Radiocoms will continue to monitor and adjust our response as necessary.
We are here to help you manage the rapidly evolving challenges and escalating pressures the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic is presenting.
We are all in this together. Please let us know how we can help.
