Data Centre extends its smart device footprint with Cel-FI QUATRA in-building cellular solution.

The challenge.

As an existing client, the Data Centre approached Radiocoms Systems Ltd to offer a network solution for their smart devices. The smart devices utilised by the employees monitor vital alarms, and therefore, the staff are dependent on a reliable cellular network. However, due to the complexity of the building construction, key personnel were facing challenges over losing network coverage, causing alarm notifications to be missed.

After performing propagation tests for suitability and identifying cable runs with the client, Radiocoms recommended the Cel-Fi QUATRA in-building Cellular Solution. Cel-Fi QUATRA is an Active DAS Hybrid which provides uniform, high-quality cellular signal throughout a building regardless of its construction.

The solution.

Cel-FI QUATRA is a carrier approved and guaranteed network safe system. Unlike older analogue boosters and passive DAS technology, Cel-Fi QUATRA delivers a cellular signal that is up to 1000x stronger, utilising CAT 5e cabling for RF and Power over Ethernet, with no signal attenuation right to the perimeter of the building.
