Can you tell us about GlobalView Systems & the core values of the organisation?

How do you feel digital technology is changing to positively affect the radio communications industry?
Digital technology is continuously changing. This is giving the customer greater communication options from PoC to smart devices through to multi-mode two-way radios. This is driving the industry to change, and those radio specialists capable of embracing this change will deliver bigger and better solutions for their clients.
What gap in the UK software application market does GlobalView Systems strive to address?
We see a need for a modular approach to software applications capable of bridging a growing number of devices and communication standards. This blended communication solution approach offers real value.
Tell us a bit about yourself personally and your background before GlobalView Systems
I was born and raised in Hull and grew up playing lots of sport. I competed in anything from rugby league to football, swimming to athletics. I have a degree in robotics, and I am a self-confessed geek at heart.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
Work-life balance is the most challenging aspect of my job – I have a young family and have to work hard to balance the demands of running GlobalView and being available to attend sports day and helping with homework.
And the most rewarding?
We have worked on some great projects from luxury marine to nuclear power – delivering these projects is always really rewarding.
What else is in store for GlobalView Systems in 2019 that will benefit Radiocoms clients?
We have updates to our InteraX solution in development now, which will open more opportunities for Radiocoms’ and their clients. We are client centric, and the sales team at Radiocoms know we are available to assist in bringing solutions to life from simple alarm handlers to smart device notification and tracking. We will react to your clients’ needs.
